The Woodburne Cardigan Knit Along includes online written and video tutorials to guide you through every step of the pattern so you can knit this sweater confidently from the comfort of your home!
Designed by Irish designer, Carol Feller, the Woodburne is the perfect cardigan: fun to knit and great to wear with just the right amount of details. And pockets!!!
It is knit in one piece from the bottom up with subtle cable details and a modified saddle shoulder construction.
The pattern is written for finished bust sizes 32.25″ – 55.75″.
In this KAL you will learn how to:
- Make a proper swatch to test your gauge
- Knit a sweater from the bottom up
- Read your knitting so you can always tell what row you are on
- Use a lifeline so you never have to rip all your work out again
- Make pockets
- Do an I-cord bind-off
- Make a one-row buttonhole
- Seam your work for a professional finish
- Read knitting charts
Participants must know how to cast on, knit, purl, cable, and bind off prior to starting this KAL. Having completed a basic sweater in the past will be helpful, but it’s not necessary for adventurous knitters.
